Domingo. 13:30. Hora del aperitivo.

Sunday. 13:30. Time for an snack.

Ese es uno de mis momentos preferidos del fin de semana. Y si hace solecito mejor todavía.

This is one of my favourites moments of the week-end. Better if it is sunny.

El otro día mi amigo Javito me llevó a conocer un sitio nuevo perfecto para tomar el aperitivo. Se llama Bodega La fuente y está junto a la calle Gran Vía de Majadahonda.

Last week, my friend Javito invited me to a new bar called " Bodega la Fuente". It is located in Majadahonda (Madrid). 

 

Su especialidad las anchoas; aunque tienen muchas más opciones.

The star dish is the anchovies, but there are another dishes very yummy as well.

Desde mi punto de vista, una de los puntos fuertes de este sitio para mí es que por el mismo precio que el de otras franquicias similares, la calidad de la comida es bastante superior.

In my opinion, the main difference between this place and other restaurants, is that the value for money is higher. The quality of the food is very high.

Para el postre os recomiendo el café asiático. Elaborado a base de brandy, licor 43, leche condensada, café, ralladura de limón y canela. ¡¡Riquísimo!!

I suggest you to order the Asian coffee (coffee with brandy, licor 43, condensed milk, grating lemon and cinnamon). Really yummy!!

Sunset in Sitges

Me habían dicho que Sitges era muy bonito, y para que engañarnos tienen razón.

They say that Sitges is a very beautiful place. Now, I can confirm you that this is true.

A pesar de que en verano, con el sol y el buen tiempo, debe tener mucho más encanto, a mí (y en pleno Noviembre) me gustó bastante.

I guess it is nicer in summer, because of the good weather, but I visited it in November, and I loved it!

Está claro, que el mar es el mayor protagonista de Sitges, pero el centro también tiene muchísimo encanto. 

Is true that the main point of interest of Sitges is the sea. Despite, the city centre is also very nice.

Para tomar algo os recomiendo "El cable". Se trata de bar de tapas y pinchos situado en la zona del centro. Lo descubrí gracias a una recomendación que publicaron en la revista Elle, y me sorprendió bastante, ya que de precio está muy bien, y la calidad es bastante buena. 

For "tapas" I recommend you "El cable". It is a very typical place located in the city centre. The value for money is very good.

Para bajar la comida, lo mejor es dar una vuelta por la zona del paseo marítimo.

After lunch, I suggest you to walk along the promenade.

Vivimos dos momentos muy mágicos durante nuestra visita a Sitges,

He experienced two very special moments in our trip.

Y es que en medio del paseo conocimos a dos chicos que habían montado su propia cámara y estudio de revelado en un cajón flamenco. Sí, como se hacía antiguamente.

We met two guys while we where walking by the promenade who were making pictures with a very courious camera. They had created their own camera with a flamenco box drum. 

Estuvimos un buen rato con ellos viendo el funcionamiento de esta genial creación. E incluso nos dejaron probarla.

We spent a very good time with them. They showed us how this camera works and the even let us to test it.

La foto sale en negativo, de tal manera que luego al hacer una foto a la foto, obtenemos la foto en positivo...

Th picture is printed in negative, therefore, when you make another picture to it, it turns into positive.

Fue una pasada, y además nos llevamos unas fotos muy bonitas de recuerdo.

It was an amazing experience, and we also got very nice pictures.

Podéis hacer la prueba sobre esta foto; si hacéis una foto a esta foto y luego invertís los colores de vuestro móvil, veréis que la foto sale en positivo.

You can test it taking a picture to this one; after that, if you turn over the color settings of your mobile phone, you will see the result.

Y el segundo, un atardecer de los más bonitos que he visto nunca.

And the second special moment was this one; of the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen.
